Reworked vintage blue worker jacket with kimono patchwork

Limited edition: four pieces made.

 

There two versions of this jacket:

With Sashiko embroidery: hand embroidered using traditional Japanese techniques for mending workwear by Etoile & Co.

The two jackets with Sashiko embroidery fit a UK8 (oversized) - UK12 (loosely fitted)

Without Sashiko embroidery: this jacket has the vintage kimono patchwork on the pockets but no embroidery (final two jacket images).

The jacket without embroidery fits a UK14 (oversized) - UK18 and is best suited to taller women.


Model, Dann, wears the Sashiko version and is a UK8

    • Main fabric: cotton
    • Trim: vintage silk and cotton
    • Label: 100% silk made from waste cloth

    Very good condition. As this is a vintage item there may be some signs of wear... the imperfections are all part of their character and charm.

    Made: locally to the MW x ETOILE studio in Suffolk

    Wash: given the mix of vintage cotton & silk fabrics as well as hand embroidery, we recommend dry cleaning (green if possible)
