A sensational read - highly, highly recommend. So beautifully written and sweeps across decades, continents and lives. I loved every single one of the characters despite (or perhaps because of) their deep flaws.

It's a densely packed 864 pages so probably one for avid readers.

I haven't seen the movie, but my husband has and says it's rubbish. So, in this instance, it's a case of not judging a book by its movie.
